Chester School Council welcomes Captains & Poets, who will be hosting a Parent & Kids (Grades 2-5) workshop on Fostering Resilience and Creating a Culture of Well-Being.

The evening will be hosted at Chester Elementary, and childcare for siblings will be provided.

Workshop Agenda, 60-90 min:
• Parents & students will first meet together to understand more about the agenda and goals of the workshop. Then Captains & Poets will break the kids (grades 2-5) into two groups.

• One will be grades 2 and 3 and their facilitator is going to focus on belonging and resilience.

• Students in grades 4 and 5 will be focussed with their facilitator on leadership and creating a culture of well-being.

• During the breakouts parents will be led into their own discussion about how they can help foster an inclusive environment.
